Safe-Guard AquaSol
Safe-Guard® AquaSol is a fenbendazole dewormer for chickens. It treats and controls specific intestinal worms and is easy to administer through drinking water. Each mL contains 200 mg of fenbendazole.
Effective Parasite Control
Safe-Guard AquaSol treats and controls adult Ascaridia galli roundworms in broilers and replacement chickens. In breeding chickens and laying hens, it also treats and controls adult Heterakis gallinarum, or cecal worms.
Merck Animal Health reports 98.8% efficacy against adult A. galli across four U.S. field studies. It also reports 92.1% efficacy against adult H. gallinarum in long-lived birds.
Easy to Give Through Drinking Water
Safe-Guard AquaSol lets you treat the flock through its drinking water. Its stable suspension helps reduce sediment buildup and clogged pipes, filters and nipple drinkers.
For chickens, treatment lasts 5 consecutive days. Always follow the product label for dosing and mixing instructions.
Approved for Laying Hens
Safe-Guard AquaSol is approved for laying hens and replacement chickens intended to become laying hens. No withdrawal period is required for chickens when used according to the label.
Merck also reports no adverse effects on egg production, hatchability or breeder progeny when used as directed.
